I became certified as a professional pet sitter through an extensive course offered by The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS). NAPPS is the only national non-profit trade association dedicated to serving the needs of professional pet sitters.
The Association aims to help the pet owning public, those interested in pet sitting, and professionals engaged in the in-home pet care industry by fulfilling its vision statement, serving as "the most respected authority in professional pet sitting." As a member of NAPPS, I have taken a Pledge of Professional Conduct which guides me in conducting my business by the highest standards of ethical behavior.

From early on, I believed that pets really improve one's quality of life, and now there are many scientific studies which agree.
I have had dogs, cats, lizards, frogs and many small furries such as guinea pigs and hamsters.
My family and I also successfully raised a puppy for The Seeing Eye, and she is now happily at work leading her sight-impaired person.
I have been home sitting and pet sitting since 2009, and I considered it to be a great hobby.

Daily visits can be scheduled from 7 am through 9 pm within roughly a 1 hour window.
Visits include one dog walk, food, medication, accident clean-up, pet dish wash, and of course, lots of love.
Basic daily visit charges are for time.
No extra pet charges except above mentioned extra dog walks.
Home security check included at no charge for all pet sitting visits.
House will be occupied at minimum from 9 pm - 7 am (likely to be longer) plus mid-day visit for homes with dogs.
No additional charge for extra cats, birds, reptiles, etc.
