The K9Edge is hiring experienced Daycare and Kennel Technicians responsible for dog care and facility cleanliness. To work with us your focus must be to ensure that all daycare and boarding dogs are safe, exercised, clean, happy and healthy. Requirements: 1-year RELEVANT experience in a similar environment. Experience handling large breed and working dogs a plus.

Must be reliable and live locally (late for shift arrivals and last minute call-outs will not work in this environment). Must love dogs. Must like humans. Must like to clean. Must have a sense of humor and tolerate stupid jokes. Our trainers will work with you to determine which training method is the best fit for you and your dog. The K9Edge is offering DATE NIGHT CARE.

One weekend a month we will be offering Friday or Saturday night Date Night Care from 5pm to 11 pm. Call us to find out about our next DATE NIGHT and reserve your spot!
Services
To attend Daycare your dog must undergo a scheduled EVALUATION which includes reviewing your application and temperament testing.
Our evaluation ensures that your dog will be as safe as possible here at The K9Edge(R).
Evaluations are free of charge and last about 45 minutes.
Call or email us to schedule one today!
Every dog has access to a safe, comfortable napping spot in one of our rest areas, a vari-kennel, in our kennel or on a lap!
Our trained, caring staff makes sure each dog gets plenty of fun and exercise.
Boarding dogs who are not daycare approved or daycare clients will attend daycare as "solo" dogs.
All animals are fed twice per day unless you specify otherwise.
We feed your dog's own food so as not to promote stomach distress by introducing a new food.
Please provide enough the food in a plastic bag or plastic container for the boarding duration and label it with name, quantity and frequency.
If we have to purchase more we will provide the receipt and add it to your boarding bill.
We administer all veterinarian prescribed medications at no extra charge.
The K9Edgeuses a combination of training techniques as every dog is different.
Our training classes help handlers develop a relationship with their dogs and strengthen the bond between the handler and the dog.
Most importantly, we train dogs and their HUMANS so that the program is successful.
Our training classes are at our facility in Danvers, MA; classes are small and space is limited.
Puppy socialization and training is the single most important step you can take to have a well-adjusted adult dog.

Please set up an appointment with us to discuss your needs.

Your deposit will be returned if you keep your appointment and decide not to use our services, or cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours notice.

If you drop your dog off in the AM, before noon, and pick up your dog in the PM, after noon, you will be charged for two days.
