While animals are often the main topic in my life, I do have some other interests. My non-animal related hobbies are cooking, baking, vegetable gardening, and especially hiking. You will often find me out in the garden or hiking with my dog Ginger. I started pet sitting when I was 19 years old. It started with family and friends, and grew from there.
I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors and end of life care. I also have experience with bunnies, ferrets and rats. I'm always looking to expand my knowledge of other animals so don't be afraid to ask if I can care for your other types of pets. Michelle is an amazing person and a joy to have in a dog's life.

She was an energetic, 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer whose previous owners had kept her in a crate most of the time.
Her first time in our yard, she ran for hours.

When she finally calmed down, I set a blanket in the backyard.
