Hendricks Kennels is conveniently located just west of Houston in Katy, Texas. We are surrounded by beautiful farmland conducive to exceptional retriever training. Hendricks Kennels has been in operation since 1991, specializing in retriever training. The staff of Hendricks Kennels takes great pride in giving our clients the highest level of service possible and providing a safe and clean learning environment for each dog entrusted to us.

Services
Located just minutes from Houston, Hendricks Kennels can accommodate up to 60 dogs for training and boarding.
Our dogs are housed in 4' x 10' and 5' x 10' spacious runs with concrete flooring and a permanent roof over head.
Commercial fans and a 52-head spray mist system cools the kennel in warmer months, and multiple upright heaters provide warmth for the dogs in the winter months as well as tarping in the facility where needed.
Water work is introduced and taught on a personally-designed swim-by pond bordered by a larger technical pond offering limitless training options.

Puppies in Head Start Training will generally roll right into our formal training program.

When you enroll your dog in our curriculum, we will discuss the goals you have for your dog and explain the specially-designed program he will follow to help your dog meet and exceed those goals and grow to its maximum potential.

Should an approved client wish to have their dog exercised and trained during boarding, the cost is $35/day.
Before bringing your dog into the kennel for boarding, we require proof of vaccinations including rabies and Bordatella (kennel cough).
The boarding fee will include boarding and healthy food.
You are welcome to bring some of your dog's food, if you would like, to transition him to our food - Purina Pro Plan Sport.
