I'm a Navy veteran and pet parent fond of all pets big and small. Having my chocolate lab, Charlie, at my side during and after my military service, I realized how deep the connection is between people and animals, and how it's becoming increasingly difficult for families to meet their pets' needs while dealing with busy schedules and plans for traveling.
We faced the same issues after bringing Charlie home from a shelter while still being a military family on the go and dealing with his separation anxiety when we were gone.
