Pet Dog USA was founded with the belief that our local pet dog owners and their pups are clever, busy creatures, which deserve the absolute best. Emily's passion for applied behavioral theory, communication, and her logical style of teaching truly helps her clients to better understand the dogs they live with. Working with Emily you will learn why some of the dog training approaches you may have tried before have worked, while others have not.
You'll also learn how behaviors are motivated and reinforced in your beloved pup, and what your options are for addressing any remaining behavior issues and/or dog training goals within your household. Emily holds a Master degree in Communication Studies from California State University Chico, is a graduate and ongoing student at the Michael Ellis School of Dog Training, and is the proud owner of Lafayette's newest boarding and day care facility, The Tail Haven Hotel and Day Lounge, founded in 2014.
She currently resides in Walnut Creek, CA.

A Board And Train package is perfect for the busy family who's pup is growing up faster than you can keep up with training, a pup who has started getting off track with socialization or other bad behavior, or for clients who just want to get off to the right start with a new dog or pup and know that their training needs are covered.
When we take dogs in on board and train, your basic training needs are covered for life.
If you encounter problems down the road, or if any training is not completed to your satisfaction, we are here to fix it.

If you and your pup are already on your way with basic training, but still experiencing a unique problem or two at home, we are more than willing to help get you pointed in the right direction again.
Our Pet Dog USA training-consultants draw on a vast expertise in training and animal behavior to make specific recommendations on behavior management and custom training tailored just for you, your pup, and your household.
