Liz Schneider, Owner and Founder of Nonie's Pet Care, LLC. The name "Nonie" is what my grandchildren call me. Prior to founding Nonie's Pet Care, I was a Career Insurance Adjuster for four major insurance companies in both Lafayette and Metairie. During all that time, I worked in rescue, fostering, adoption, fund raising and all forms of pet care for over 40 years.
I was the spokesperson for Lafayette Animal Aid for ten years. In 2016, Nonie's, with the help of our amazing clients, provided industrial sized fans and much needed supplies for Ascension Parish and Livingston Parish shelters and was recognized by the ASPCA. In 2019, I organized a Town Meeting, with local experts, to address the coyote concern in Old Metairie.
I am involved in all-things-pets, but my specialty is in animal behavior and resolving behavior issues. I have been studying animal behavior over the last 10 years and have learned so much from various behaviorists and Veterinarians. My mission is to provide the gold standard in pet sitting services so that your pet has fun, is safe and cared for while providing you with peace of mind so you can enjoy your trip.

How long are your visits?
We offer 90 min, 60 min.
30 minute and 15 minute visits for dogs.
For cats, we have 15 minute and 30 minute visits.
We also have overnight visits as well, but on a first come-first serve basis.

We provide appropriate enrichment for the age and breed of your pet; we take them for walks and we give them lots of love and affection as well.

As my dogs got older I knew they would prefer to be in their own home vs a kennel so we started using Nonie's and they have been wonderful.
They are reliable, answer messages quickly and are always accommodating if we have to make switches.
They send pictures and updates at every visit and have always made my dogs feel loved while we're on vacation.
They do a great job with my dog who needs extra walks when we're gone and a little extra care from an injury.
