First Friend K-9 Training is Central Indiana's one stop training facility. We specialize in training starting with Puppy Kindergarten to Advanced and Agility Obedience Classes. We can help you solve your behavioral problems with In Kennel Training, Private Lessons, or House Calls. Training is our full time business, NOT our hobby, and our services don't stop with training.
We also offer Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and large selection of retail items. Everyone that walks through our doors are not only clients but part of our extended family "pack". Colder temperatures are here so please keep in mind just like humans and the cold and flu season, it is also the season for upper respiratory viruses for our "First Friends".
We've attached some information on upper respiratory (kennel cough) so everyone is better educated. Please remember if your dog shows any signs of upper respiratory virus please keep them at home and notify us immediately if they have been here to help us keep it from spreading.

This class meets for 1 1/2 hours on Saturday Mornings.
The fee for this class is $200.00.
The best time to do Puppy Kindergarten class is when your puppy is between 11 to 19 weeks.
Novice Class is an 8 week course that meets for 10 hours.
This class meets for 1 hour in the evenings (Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays) with the exception of the first night which is a 2 1/2 hour orientation.
The fee for this class is $250.00.
This class meets for 1 1/2 hours on Saturday Mornings.
The fee for this class is $200.00.

Our staff is qualified to provide you and your family detailed instructions and hands on training to master the art of grooming, nail trimming, ear cleaning and teeth brushing.
Socialization is also a key part of this course.
Socialization includes meeting many new people; including both children and adults, as well as other puppies.

We will build on commands taught in Novice as well as training using hand signals.

This class is a great way to continue training with your dog, have fun, and build new friendships with other dog lovers!
