At River Paws we have a different take on the doggy daycare experience. We provide an open environment that allows dogs to interact with each other. We also know that dogs sometimes just need to run or swim. We take our guests to the nearby dog park and allow them to get their energy out in a positive manner. Our staff is constantly working with the dogs to provide positive interactions throughout the day.
We also take the time to provide puzzle toys, positive behavioral reinforcement, and agility games to the dogs. As we are dog lovers ourselves, we know how much your puppy means to you and we want each of our guests to have a happy and healthy experience. Training classes could help your relationship with your dog. These classes train both the human and dog together.
Our Play, Stay, and Train program makes training a fun and rewarding experience. Our emphasis is on meeting your dogs' innate needs first, such as play and exercise, along with learning new tricks, behaviors, and manners.

Services
After receiving your application, we will send you an email to plan a good start date for your dog.
We will evaluate your dog on their first day but will continue to re-evaluate and communicate any observations or concerns.
We highly encourage that the dogs arrive by 9 am, this is not mandatory but it helps keep the dogs comfortable and the arousal levels low as they begin their daily routine.
We are open from 6:30 am to 6 pm.
We understand there are hold ups but there will be a $7.00 late fee for pickups after 6 PM.

Need dog grooming?
Our four-legged friends are amazing, but sometimes they need a little help taking care of themselves.
We know washing your dog can be an ordeal, but that is why we make it easy for you and your dog with our dog wash.
You can stop on in without an appointment and use our dog wash, shampoo/conditioner, and air dryer without having to worry about the mess.
We will clean up after you!
Even better, we can wash your dog while you wait.
If they don't enjoy getting nail trims or their ears cleaned, but we are there to help.

Our Puppy Play Days are an excellent way for your puppy to begin socialization.
During these days, we set aside a room for just our staff and puppies to learn and play together.
This is just like a 'normal' daycare day, but for puppies who are just learning the ropes.
They get exposure to basic training commands, a feel for the River Paws life, and learn how to play nice with other puppies.

our dog Cooper absolutely loves his time here, he has even started to become excited as we pull closer to the building. He always comes home tired after a day of play. The girls are always friendly and greet him by name. They are always transparent about how he acts with other dogs and what works best for him. He was also recently groomed by Steph and he looked absolutely amazing. It was by far the best haircut he has ever received. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Monique does a great job grooming our dog Bentley. Sam is a dog whisperer. We sent Kona to her for dog training. Any time I have a behavioral issue I call her. We also had a day where I called to double-check pick up time as I was home alone with my grand daughter and Sam offered to bring our pups home for me. Their customer service is top notch.

I’m a new puppy mom who had the privilege to be home 24/7 with Abby during the height if the pandemic. When it was time to return to work I needed to find a safe and caring place for her. Needless to say, I was apprehensive about taking her somewhere new and leaving her with people and dogs I didn’t know. I was able to let Amanda know of my hesitation and she went above and beyond to help me and Abby feel at home at River Paws. Kayla helped too and I feel completely confident in their care. A real bonus is the time Abby gets outdoors and help with training! Highly recommend River Paws! Abby was tuckered out at the end of the day, and peaceful!

I can't believe I haven't left a review yet for these awesome people. Amanda and the crew are WONDERFUL, I can't say enough good things about them. Their communication is fantastic, Cricket is always so emotionally, mentally, and physically stimulated there that she comes home a snuggly puddle of contentment, and I love their little report cards too. Our 2 year old golden retriever had NEVER been to a public place outside the home without one of her parents with her, and they made that transition as easy as could be and now she can't wait to go there. I do tell my friends all about River Paws, but I'm almost afraid to tell more because I don't want them booking up too far ahead of time.
