We offer regular dog walking/pet care visits as well as overnight pet sitting.
Like You're There Pet Care cares for all pets big and small! We will not discriminate based on breeds and understand it's not just dogs and cats you love. We specialize in fish tanks, reptiles, birds and small mammals and try our best with house plants!

I founded Like You're There Pet Care LLC because I know how much your pets mean to you!
I have been an avid animal lover my whole life and have had every pet in the book.
I currently have a black lab mix, 2 cats, a rescue turtle and an aquarium.
I have struggled myself with not wanting to leave them for vacations, being stuck in the office long hours and worrying and hesitating to make plans that might keep me away from home for too long.
From 2010-2014, I was employed by the Monmouth County SPCA as the Volunteer and Community Outreach Coordinator.

Our visits benefit your dog by enriching their daily routine, providing physical exercise and mental stimulation while you're gone and of course making sure your well deserved pooch gets the treats and belly rubs they can't go too long without.
Dog walking visits are perfect for dog parents that work long hours and need steady visits or for per diem visits when you have a day trip planned.

During your initial pet care consultation/meet and greet you will be asked all about you and your pets specific needs.
We can go for a walk with you and your dog to learn the preferred route, find out where you keep your pet supplies, etc.
At this time you can provide a key for us to keep on file which is the preferred method for ongoing services.
Or this can wait until your services begin after the consultation.
Your key will be kept in a lock box with only your first name and last initial attached to it.
