My mission and passion in life is to help make a positive difference in the lives of animals. Dayna's Dog Sitting is not a facility, it is a private home. Guests share my home, property, and daily life. Limited to a small number of canine guests in a low-stress, kennel-free environment. I provide a loving, natural, nurturing, peaceful and positive atmosphere that allows each dog to feel relaxed, secure, content, comfortable, exercised, and mentally stimulated.
Services
One of my main goals is to provide uniquely individualized care.
I strive to maximize the quality of care by paying the utmost attention to the individual needs of the canine guests and their guardians through compassionate care and integrity.
I try hard to make sure each dog gets the right amount/type of play and exercise that's appropriate to age, temperament and condition.
This would be balanced with the right amount of rest and quiet time.
9.5 fully fenced acres (main dog area is 1.5 fully fenced acres) and 1600 square foot home to enjoy.

Have first series of vaccinations or titers (not required to have annual vaccinations, as services are holistically oriented).
Negative fecal test, including giardia test, within the past 6 months for first time clients, then annual thereafter.
Confirmation that pet is in good health and has had no contagious illness within the past 30 days of reservation.
I do not require annual vaccinations.
I believe that first year vaccinations provide lifelong immunity.
There is much ongoing disagreement in the veterinary community regarding the safety and effectiveness of different vaccination protocols.

Any items from home to help ease transition and make your pet feel more comfortable (bed, blanket, toys, crate, etc.).
There are extra beds, blankets, toys, dishes and crates available here to use, but it is recommended to bring pet's own items from home.

I treat each guest as an individual and try to nourish your animal companion(s)' mind, body and spirit while under my care.
I promote holistic health practices such as a great, natural diet, limited vaccines, limit the use of chemical cleaners, sanitizes, pesticides, herbicides, fragrances, etc., limit stress, provide the appropriate exercise, give clear rules and boundaries, and of course lots of love.
I try and keep their minds active with appropriate play, activities and stimulation, but also give them lots of rest and relaxation, all the while striving to have a calm, relaxed mental state.
