I'm Melanie and I opened Navarre Wags & Whiskers because I have dogs of my own and the thought of traditional boarding breaks my heart.
This led me to offer an alternative to kennels by making your dog feel at home and providing them with around the clock care.
I'm an ABC Certified Dog Trainer and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
I am also the founder of L&R Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue.
All of my free time is spent rescuing, rehabilitating, and training unwanted shelter pets, giving a second chance to those that need it the most.
