Our work is not a late in life "rewarding second career" or a part-time job. Downtown Dog Walk, LLC (DTDW) is a small company and there is never a revolving door of ever changing, newly hired, ill-prepared, green individuals entering your home. We're your neighbors, and live in the community we serve. Depending on your dog's needs, we prefer to create buddy walks, rather than pack walks.
We work hard at matching up your dog with another based on age, temperament, play style and size. Most dogs really enjoy having a canine friend. They know exactly where their best buddy lives and miss them if they take a day off. This all serves to enrich their lives. While we have extensive Puppy and Dog experience; we also have wide-ranging experience caring for all critters: Kittens, Cats, Ferrets, Birds, Rodents, Amphibians.
DTDW has strong alignments with the best local 'positive reinforcement dog/animal trainers/behaviorists only', personally vetted by us. If a trainer/behaviorist is ever needed, you are covered and we all work together as a team to help.

We also can reinforce training techniques, give food and water, and offer phone calls, texts and emails to ease anxious parents.
Robust, briskly paced walks throughout the neighborhood which may or may not include: training, reinforcement of training, singing, jogging, and belly rubs!
