Due to limited staff, our current business hours are Monday through Saturday 8am-4pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm. However, we are on premises until 6pm and can assist you if you call (303) 279-6969. And there's even another special place for tiny dogs that don't want to be with any of those big dogs!

We need proof of up-to-date vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella (kennel cough).
Cats require Rabies and the FRVCP vaccine.

We do stock food, Fromm Gold brand, if you prefer to use ours.
We are happy to give the dogs their medications for a nominal fee as stated above.
The Agricultural Department requires that they are in the original prescription bottle with the dosage and the administering vet clinic.

Laura has owned and lived at Sage Valley since 1996.
Her extensive experience in the animal care industry began with boarding and showing horses for 18 years.
She then changed her focus to the dog world where she gained extensive knowledge in obedience training and the show ring.
In 1995 Laura founded Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies.
The group places hundreds of Goldens every year.
Their membership has grown to such an extent that they now own their own acreage and facility.
Laura was also instrumental in the founding of Safe Harbor Lab Rescue and Colorado Pom and Peke Rescue.
