I'm Penny Karrer, and for the past 19 years I have owned and operated Penny's Pampered Pet Care LLC, an in-home professional pet sitting service in Sioux Falls.
I also cover Brandon, Harrisburg, and Tea.
I make in-home visits to care for pets while their owners are away.
This helps with anxiety issues, as pets can stay home, safe and secure in their own environment.
While you are away, in addition to caring for and pampering your pet, we will be happy to give your house that "lived in" look by turning lights/radio/TV on and off, bringing in your mail and newspapers, and adjusting curtains and blinds.

Upon moving to Sioux Falls 2 1/2 years ago, I needed someone to watch my pets right away, as I was heading out of town to help a friend who was having knee replacement surgery.
Though I was quite "frazzled" from the move, Penny came right over, got to know me and my kitties while gathering all of the information necessary to provide care.
During my absence, Penny sent e-mails and called to reassure me that everything was OK on the homefront.

Question: The other day I saw a sign on the side of a van advertising a pet sitting service.
I see that you don't have a sign on your car advertising your service.
Is there a reason why?
It seems like it would be great advertising for you!
Answer: While it would be excellent advertising for me, you will never see a sign or even a personalized license plate (that indicates my profession) on my car.
The reason is that the security of the client's home is of the utmost importance to me.
I try to make the home look lived in, not advertise the fact that the home owner is away and that someone from a pet sitting service is making visits.
