Hacker's Creek Kennel was established in 2003 by Jeff and Emily Hacker. The 20 run dog boarding, training, and grooming facility is located in the gentle rolling hills of southern Indiana where dogs enjoy a beautiful view of the countryside. All dogs who visit Hacker's Creek Kennel are treated with the love and respect they deserve, just like part of the family!

Services
While here at Hacker's Creek Kennel your dog(s) will receive 2 walks around 3 acres each day and additional playtime if the weather allows.
We like to socialize the dogs as much as possible, so if they are dog friendly they will get to make lots of friends!
All dogs receive undivided personal attention (ie: petting, cuddling, and play to ensure a healthy and happy mental attitude.).

Before your dog can board with us they need to be vaccinated.
This policy ensures the health and safety of your pet as well as the health and safety of other client's pets while they stay with us.
Bordetella aka Kennel Cough - These shots are required every 6 to 12 months to prevent canine infectious tracheobronchitis (aka kennel cough).
Distemper/DA2PPC/DHLPP - These shots are required every 1 or 3 years.
A multivalent shot that covers Distemper, Adenoviruses 1 & 2 (Canine hepatitis), Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza.
This policy ensures the health and safety of your pet as well as the health and safety of other client's pets while they stay with us.

We are dedicated to ensuring that you have the proper knowledge and tools to keep your dog's skin and coat in excellent condition.
All dogs deserve to look and feel their best and we find great joy in making that possible.
A consistent grooming schedule is important to maintain your dog's health and coat as well as preserving a healthy mental attitude about grooming.
The more he/she is groomed, the more confident he/she will feel about the whole experience.

Our certified professional dog trainer Jeff Hacker is formally educated and have combined experienced in obedience, waterfowl dogs, dock diving, agility, clicker training, protection, scent work, search and rescue, and a wide range of behavior problems.
We also have on-staff Haley Brewer, who is a a graduate from Purdue University in the field of Animal Behavior and Well-Being.
