Established in 2003. Lucy's Friends Pet Sitting, LLC is insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. We offer a 10% discount to all animal rescue volunteers, first responders, and active duty military personnel! We'll even spend the night and drink our morning coffee with your kiddo (limited availability).

I started Lucy's Friends Pet Sitting at an interesting time in my life.
I'd just decided to go back to college and get a degree in psychology; my plan was to be a minister in the Quaker church.
While attending Guilford College and doing an internship in pastoral ministry, I started pet sitting part time.
It turned out to be a pretty great job!
Today, I hold certificates in Certified Professional Pet Sitting and Certified Fear Free Pet Care.
I continue my education in the areas of senior pet and feline care.

We offer care that is customized to your pet(s) and home.
We will feed your animals, give medications, clean pet dishes and areas, and of course spend quality time with your animals.
Playtime and walks are included!
Your house is just as important to us as your animals.
We will rotate lights and blinds, keep the plants watered, bring in the mail and newspaper, take out the trash and recycling, and keep an eye on things in general.
Our standard visit is 30 minutes, but we do have some 60 minute slots available (please text or email to inquire about availability).

Wolfgang is a long time jazz musician; he regularly performs throughout the NC Piedmont.
He is also an avid hiker, and runs up to the mountains every chance he gets.
Before joining Lucy's Friends Pet Sitting, Wolfgang worked at a local shelter for 11 years.
He is a volunteer with 'People for Paws for Hope', and he specializes in working with shy, traumatized, and special needs pets.
He's a perfect addition to LF!
Candi is very passionate about special needs children and special needs pets-she has one of each.
